“Wolfhound”
Found at a metal recycling yard! 100% complete, very little rust. Non-OD transmission. Apparently not run since 2003. Changed the fluids, plugs, points etc., dropped a line into clean fuel and it started right up.
Original color was Royal Blue with black interior. I've always been a bit of a purist, but I've painted it Aston Martin "Silver Birch" and went to Matador Red leather. Other than that, the only upgrades I'm doing is a new Bell SS exhaust, and I put in the late MkIII rear spring. The car has no OD, which is fine with me--one less thing to go wrong. The remainder of the car I will keep close to original.

I'd be happy to buy the fuel pump from you, operable or not. Let me know what you'd like for it! It seems like anything is available for post-commission number 5001, but earlier than that is a lot of archaeology. But therein lies the fun!
Thanks!

and paint. It needs lots of 'detail' work to get it to the level i want (similar to yours)
Really like your hood / engine compartment, what did you use for the hood supports,
seems like great idea and much better than the OEM hinged units. Do you need 2 as

I got my struts, Sachs SG126003, from RockAuto.com for $48.81 delivered. I fashioned some lower brackets from two galvanized steel "L" braces from Home Depot (check the fencing/deck department), beat them into submission to get the right angle for the placement, and bolted them into existing holes on the forward frame. Take a look at the picture on my "home page". With that lower bracket mounted, I just held the bonnet up to where I wanted it to remain in the open position, marked the point on the inner wheel well where the fully extended strut ended, and drilled a hole at that point. I had hoped to use one of the existing holes in the fender, but the strut is about 2" too long. Then add the ball joint there (using fender washers and lock-nuts), and you're done. A couple of things to remember--make sure as you figure out where to put the struts that they're no
I got a GT-6 when I was 16....back in '72, spent most weekends working on the car so
am very excited about this.
so, do you have a reference nr.? If not original - what was it before?
