Worked on the radiator today. Still needs some trimming here and there but is the look I was going for. Used thin aluminum flashing over bendable plywood.
Aluminum is removable if I need to replace. Will work on the hood next.

Looks good, Brian. How did you fasten the aluminum to the plywood?

Mike, I used 2 screws at the bottom on each side and the radiator cap at the top. Then 2 faced tape to keep the middle tight. The bendable plywood is glued and screwed in place. It's still a work in progress.
