Well I can't get my mind off this so here is my revision B-D
Jim over at Max Torque loaned me a couple of jackshafts to try out.
This will be a bit higher, but looks like a better fit to add supports.
As I look at this I see I will need to have this adjustable to tension the chain.
Engine mount will be welded to cross member and Motor will be on jackshaft that will be adjustable.
OK, In Picture #2 REV C I can mount the supports under the axle ( This is not the axle in this picture just using as a guide.) and weld to engine mount plate and cross member.
This way I can adjust the chain tension and the jackshaft and engine can be removed easily.
REV D I think this is the one to go with.
See Picture. Hard to see in picture but better clearance with axle, able to mount engine lower. so when I have all the parts to fit before welding I will check the
setup again.
