Tom Thinesen's 1961 Elva Sports Racer MkVI
|
This Elva is believed to be the second car used in the movie Viva Las Vegas. The primary car, the Vinegaroon with a Maserati motor that would not run, so a second car was obtained from Hollywood Sports cars a made to look like the Vinegaroon. This car was used in all of the actual on the road shots plus a few of the garage shots. It as quite easy to tell the two cars apart, as there had been several modifications made to the Elva MK 6 used to produce the Vinegaroon.
