Hello, to all Spitfire and other Triumph owners. This last Saturday Nov. 28, 2018 I took my Spitfire Lil Cayenne to the car show, about twenty miles out.
I was taking my 1973 Datsun 240Z, but the Clutch Slave Cylinder was out when I got it to start it. So I took the cover off of Lil Cayenne. ????
Well it turned out to be a good day after all, I got there and wiped every thing down, it looked great, later that day they called for every one to come together for the awards. They start out calling top 10 awards and my car isn’t called, so there’s only two trophy’s left, a people’s choice that you bought tickets to win and the Overall winner. I said to my self, I’m out of this one, I didn’t buy a people’s choice. They call for it to be given away. Only one more Trophy left, and they call the 1974 Triumph Spitfire. YES, they Liked It!!! LIL CAYENNE WON BEST OF SHOW and got this huge Trophy.
