As winter is setting in I am having to postpone my welding for a bit. So I ordered
the rear hubs and a set of tires a few weeks ago. Today was a nice day here in the Midwest so I got to grinding on the screws. See pictures. Takes a little patience and a new grinding wheel.Tried to make nice and even.Worked out well nice tight fit,but am still able to spin in hub so I can line up after drilling.
Lined up my hole markings, center punched and started to drill. Very slow going
with a general purpose bit.Looks like I'm off to the hardware store again!
OK I'm back with titanium drill bits. Wow goes through like butter finished both
Rear hubs now on to the wheel hubs. (See more pics. )
Just thought I'd add the finished Picture as an update.
