Well the head came back from the machine shop with 4 new inserts and 4 new exhaust seats the others were all ok and all reassembled crack tested pressure tested and ready for me to clean and put back on the motor.
I must be slowing down in my old age or just enjoying taking my time and playing with Lil Blues innards as it has taken me three days to get the head , manifolds etc back on. Put oil in the motor tonight before going inside.
Found a new way to get the last of the oil out of the sump. Use a air line and a blown down tool poked in through the drain plug dont know why I didnt think of this years ago. Any way tomorrows another day and the radiator will be back in and then to fire her up again.
