Jerry's help was invaluable all along, but, he kinda "took over" the color and clear. I didn't mind at all, the results are spectacular! But, this was also supposed to be my education. To make sure I was "getting it", Jerry left me a few projects that were not attached to the car. The biggest test was the valance - the body piece that goes under the grill. It was banged up, dented up, and bent. The windscreen frame was still in red paint, as was the rear light fixture. The rear snap molding was in black, and we decided it would be nice to paint it body colored. The front grill was black, and needed to match the silver stripe it would center in. So to prove my worth to Jerry - my mission was to complete all of the loose parts. Strip the paint, do the body work, prime and block to wet sanded, shoot the stripes and color, and clear coat. I moved a bit slower than Jerry, but within a week they were done.
