The bugs were getting in, and the hour was getting late. We decided to knock off until morning. We would rise before the sun - Jerry explained lawn mowers were not our friend - and it was the weekend.
The work for the day began with taping off the silver, at the stripe line. Just by coincidence, the tape was blue, so before the blue paint. the blue stripes would be silver, and the silver stripes would be blue. The trunk lid had to be fitted and matched, then removed for paint. Then car was ready for the blue color!
