Took “Red Molly’ , my ‘52 TD down to the Keystone MG end of year car club on Sunday, took home the “Diamond in the rough” award, als known as the ugly duckling…. Heck a medal is a medal!

Drove my red MGA from Pennsylvania to Lime Rock on Thursday. Took part in the vintage rally (fundraiser for local food pantry) which was the curtain raiser for the racing weekend.
The rally starts on the starting grid of the track, and runs through the towns of Lakeville, Salisbury and on to Falls village, where the downtown was closed off for the 100 cars or so. Thoroughly recommend this .
My #595 was not ready to race so was a spectator for qualifying on Friday, great variety of cars from pre ‘39 race cars up to IMSA racers from the 80’s.

Ran out of room shoehorning 4 cars into a 3 car garage. The landlocked basement of the adjac2ent Commerical building equipped a freight lift, but will comfortably layout 8 full size parking spaces.
I debated the purchase of the freight lift for so long , shipping went from $5000 up to $17000 from China to Newark.
Another race car on the way, so it was a neccessity.
If I can be in by Thanksgiving I will be lucky, then can spend the inter prepping for next years racing season.
