I haven't raced since the VARA British Extravaganza in May 2019. I'm really itching to get back out there but I haven't even seen my car in over a year. I keep it at my mother's house an hour away and it didn't seem safe for me to visit. Obviously I will have a ton of work to do to get the car ready so it seems unlikely I'll be able to race this year either. Has anyone else taken time off from racing due to covid?

On another note, thanks to Skye for putting my car on the banner of the forum. I'm honored! The only problem is he flipped the image around so it looks like it's left hand drive!

Yeah, I did, in the beginning of 2020 almost every event was cancelled, but as summer and fall came to be in 2020, there was some events happening with social distancing and no spectators, and I just kept myself busy finishing my new shop. Now in 2021 there seem to be full schedule, all events around here are currently scheduled, and I attending, and racing at the VDCA Wild Hare event at VIR first weekend in April, and that will also include the 2021 MGVR focus event race, and we have 42 cars entered for that focus race. So things are slowly getting back to normal.
