It started out as a Bugatti t 37 Pictures wil be posted soon. I couldn't afford the t35 wheels. The straight 8 was not in my budget either. But I do have a spare wheel that doesn't fit. Yamaha. 35mm bearings.

Very nice, I am also modeling after a Bugatti 37You look to be a tall man and the fit looks good in the picture. What is the width at the cockpit and the length to the radiator back. I am only 5' 9"and I am still working on the chassis. The body dimensions are still in flux. Nice looking work shop. Love to see more pictures as you progress.

Hi Brian my cockpit is 520mm wide and the length back of the seat to radiator is 1540mm . its wider then normal because I don't use the standard axle my track is in the back as wide as the front. and I didn't want the axle sticking out that much. The car is build around me a stiff big sob. but I can get in and out easy, even without using the flip up fat mans steering wheel. Juan

This is a toy you silly man. And I wrote about Marty in the past tense. And he has died and he is dead. If you keep making mistakes like that. You will never get a decent job.

Dennis Yes it is. In fact I rolled a wire edge in it today. So except for the the ventilation slots it is finished. Now for the the panel beneath the cover hood bonnet whatever you may call it. Btw aluminum is almost like chewing gum, and very easy to work. YouTube is my teacher. Henny

I want to rectify the chewing gum statement. Today I tried how workable a piece of alu was that was given to me. It was much harder then the stuf I used. It behaved almost like spring steel. Again a bit excecurated but it was hard to work. Shrinking with the forks was no option. It's al depending on what kind of alloy it is. So keep this in mind. Henny

Henny, I remember something about modification of your Cyclekart, but wasn't sure what was that and where to search! Your solution is elegant, well-designed and well engineered! I am sure that it would work well at good surface (asphalt but wavy), but off-road, too. As I understand, solid-built rear sub-frame carrys entire mechanics (engine, CVT, brake-caliper, axle ) and is suspended at rear at one point (flexibly) and at front supported by two quarter-elliptic springs? I suppose that axle could move up and down parallel to chassis, but also changing angle: one wheel up and another down? It is something opposite to system mostly used at off-road go-karts? You will have all flexibility with suspicion at both o ends, without too much torsional forces on chassis/body... I am waiting on your following tests. Regards, Zoran
