Jim Lee's 1976 Porsche 911S
|
I bought this 911S from a guy in Oklahoma who had added the flares and paint. The engine had been rebuilt at some point and runs good although it is a 2.7 and is kind of weak to suit me.
I went through the suspension added adjustable plates in the back and bigger torsion bars. Handles crazy good. I ran at Hallett the first time I threw the car around as much as I could trying to find the dreaded oversteer condition that's supposed to be notorious on these cars. Couldn't find it. The car is very predictable which is great.
Also had the gearbox rebuilt by a reputable company. It shifts great now.
