Unknown Owner's 1974 MG MGB
|
I'm selling, not one, but 2 vehicles for the price of one.
I have two white 1974 MGBs. These came off the assembly line only months apart.
MGB #1 has been my running vehicle for a few years. It starts and drives well. Has the Weber carb conversion, wood steering wheel, new brake master cylinder, new clutch master and slave, rebuilt front suspension, rebuilt shock absorbers, newer tires, replacement seat belts, new battery, and more. Has a newer beige top that is in good shape.
The downside with this car is that it likely needs the gearbox rebuilt. It grinds the gears when downshifting. The syncro rings are probably shot. Not a job that I want to take on. You can still drive it as is...I have been for 2 years.
MGB #2, I acquired and originally thought it would be a donor vehicle. But I feel like it is in too good of shape to start robbing parts from. It is only a tune up away from being a regular driver. It has a beautifully rebuilt engine, new clutch and completely rebuilt front suspension. It has the original SU carbs. You can get it started with a squirt of starter fluid, but it needs to have the carbs adjusted to get it on the road. Has a black soft top that is in good shape.
The interior of both vehicles are in quite good shape considering the age.
Both have chrome bumpers. One still has the rubber bumper guards (Sabrinas)
Paint and body work is average. Both were originally white have been repainted.
Comes with many spare parts.
Would love to keep both of these because they are so much fun to drive but raising 3 kids has reduced my time to work on these and drive them.
Selling for $5,500 for the pair. Message me for more pictures or information.
