“Red Rat”
This was a parts car with low mileage. I pulled the 1275 out and rebuilt it as a spare for my race car. But is seemed a shame to cut up or junk the rest of the car as is was pretty sound. It need a number of things I already had on hand such as a spare, low-compression 948 engine (35 HP), top, seats, one front fender, a bonnet, etc. I built the car for under $200 and it runs great! Far from perfect: I painted it with a brush and "fixed" the seats with black duct tape. It's our "parts chaser".
