Purchased Cortina new in 1970. Started road racing her in 1971.
Now highly modified with a 260Hp 2.3L 4 cylinder with Esslinger top end and Race Engineering bottom, Weber 50 DCO carbs.
T-5WC transmission and a Winters Mini Quick Change rear.
All Wilwood brakes, Goldstar clutch. Front suspension modified MacPherson strut with strut rod, custom lower ball joint with AFCO modified control arms, custom sway bar mounting. Full camber and caster adjustment. Rear suspension 3 link with HD Panhard and adj. sway bar. Steering VW rack and pinion.
Custom made electric system with Electromotive ignition.
Took her completely apart in Nov 2015 for a major rebuild.
