Registry: 1968 Austin-Healey Sprite

Hanging it up.
1968 Sprite. Originally a CVAR Spec Sprite but built up over the past 15 years. Now here in Chicago.
Raced here in the Midwest with Midwest Council. No DNFs. Has never let me down.
Will need a new set of tires and belts, but that is about it.
Lots of things done. Too many to list but here are a few.

1275 with 60 thou overbore and flat top pistons. Decked block.
SPVP4 cam (plus spare)
1.5 forged rockers
Vernier timing.
cc'd flowed head. (approx 13.5:1 compression) Port matched.
Shot peened balanced rods.
Engine was refreshed before I hung it all up. New bearings etc.
Weber 45 DCOE carb
ARP fasteners
Close ratio Straight cut gearbox. Rebuilt.
Lightened flywheel.
Multiple rear ends. Limited slip Detroit locker and welded.
Winners circle front and rear sway bars.
Three piece rear axles.
MGB front brakes
Rear discs with Wilwood calipers
Split master cylinders with proportioning bar
Fire System
Detachable steering wheel
Fuel safe tank
VW Rabbit radiator
Total loss battery in trunk (does not run alternator)
Two spare engines (will need rebuilding) One thin, one thick flange block.
