“McCulloch Go-karts (2)”
Spoof, or mid-life crisis? Well either way, it's quite a blast!
Knowing I had a potential welding project* coming up on one (or both) of our M Roadsters, I decided to revisit my skills by restoring a historic go-kart. I had my mind & heart set on a McCulloch brand kart, as I'd bought a model R200 when I was 14.
Edit/pictures added: The R1 (twin-engine'd w/black seat) is now accompanied by an F1 model (single engine w/red& white seat).
* While the welding on the trunk floor of my own BMWs wasn't required (they were fixed under warranty) I did wind up doing the repair & reinforcement on a tick over a hundred (105-106?) M Coupes/M Rdstrs for other less fortunate owners.
