“Curvaceous”
Previous owner did a body off resto (plenty of pix to show) 1972-5. Used once since in 1977 (200miles) at Catalina Track Hill Climb, Blue Mountains, NSW. Garaged with other toys until I got it with spares - 2 rear wings, diff & axle, engine parts, new wiring loom. In between having fun driving I slowly changed all rubber parts etc o/hauled rear & front suspension, steering then found the rear g/box mount in with the spares - why hadn't it and the wiring harness been changed when the body was off? The g/box mount was 10thou o/size so I turned it down but obviously engine and tranny out to fit it. Whilst the floor was out I fitted a Clarke Spares seat belt kit anchorages ready. fitting an oil cooler, orig style with solid pipes re trimmed the cockpit and replaced fuel lines plus one dodgy looking brake line. Now putting it back together. The car has been laid up for about 37 years total so I have no reason to doubt the 18890 mileage. I kept all receipts of purchases of mine and previous owner. The car is a treat to drive. Now I have a mk2 roadster so I am told "Finish assembling this car and sell it."
