This car was originally sold in Stuttgart Germany and then brought to the U.S. by a U.S. Service member. It was then sold to the president of the Oklahoma City MG club and I bought it from him. It is currently undergoing a total restoration in Virginia. The engine was upgraded with hardened valve seats and stellite exhaust vales along with silicon bronze guides so it would run on unleaded gas. During this restoration I installed a 5 speed transmission so it would keep up with traffic without the engine whining. During restoration I discovered that the car had been involved in at least 3 accidents. Sure enough it was the left front, right front and rear. Wherever it could have been hit, it was. This has caused problems during this rebuild. The plane for the car is to build an attractive driver.
