Been in use all its life, last 38 years on hill climbs and sprints mainly with Midland Auto Club at Shelsey now with Bugatti Owners Club at Prescott.
Three rebuilds we know about, latest was a full body and mechanical job with a view to original but with improvements for competitive use.
Each season it sees a dozen hill climbs and about the same sprints with some reasonable placings considering it runs on road tyres and is normally the oldest with the smallest engine in class and road driven to events.
Engine options are the meek 1275 67 bhp twin 11/2 SU on a scatter cam but more used is the 1275 80 bhp torquey large valved head version with Weber and 244 Newman cam. Discs on front, fast fat rack with re-aligned front suspension and panhard rod added to rear make up most mods. 2020 season has 23 fixtures so far.
