or to vote for this race car or leave a comment

This Courier was purchased and converted to a vintage race car by Kent Bain of Vintage Racing Services in 1986/87. VSCCA logbook #280 issued May 2,1987. Over the next eight or so years it was raced in vintage events up and down the east coast and in the midwest.

Sold again around 1996 to Bill Thumel in Virginia Beach, VA, owner of Abacus Racing. Vintage raced by Bill and Chuck Botwright for several years. SVRA logbook issued.

Sold to me in January, 2004 and Abacus built and installed a rebuilt MGB 1800 cc engine. I raced it in 15 vintage events from 2004 through 2012 at VIR. Also used it at several VIR member days. The engine was rebuilt in early 2008 by Tim Handy of MG Matters in Goode, VA. All of the servicing and repairs during my ownership was done by Tim.

The car has been kept in a climate controlled garage since 2012. It has not been started since 2013.

More photos to come.
