3-speeder Super Sports, beetleback body. Originally dispatched with a JAP engine but was fitted with a water cooled Matchless MX4 sometime prior to 1960. Has a few other non-original items: hydraulic front brakes, non-original type headlamps and horn, rear side lights (originally there were none) bare wood dash (instead of upholstered) and converted to 12 volts. A 12V generator is installed where the starter motor used to be so it must be hand-cranked. Upholstery was likely black when new; now it's dark green.

Hi Jim, It was in Maine for a long time and was moved to Vancouver during restoration (but never titled in Canada). It sat immobile for 14 years or so while various things were attended to. The former owner took it off the road to repair the front suspension and one thing led to another with the eventual result being complete disassembly. It certainly needs fettling and a few cosmetic things need to be attended to but the wood and sheet metal are solid and the engine appears to be sound. Due to other projects it may take a few years to put it on the road again.
