The people didnt even give me but one vote when it came to judging on Sat afternoon, that told me alot.I really dont care,it was just plain fun to be there and talking to all the different Kart owners, seeing all the different builds. When someone needed help the guys would help out when they had a free moment.Had a couple with motor problems, tire problems, just misc stuff going on.My kart is far from being done,I had to rush the last 36 hours to be just able to be there in Tieton.I was up all night puting the last few boards on,puting it all back together and a quick drive around the yard before loading it up.I had a chain problem on the second lap, then again during the relay race.I got it fixed later then to be pushing it back from the orchard couple miles out of town from a burnt up belt(too tall of gearing),it was closing in on 90 degrees already.Didnt have extra parts so I headed home. Thanks for the kind words Zoran, its not my best work but it drives!!!

Im still working out some bugs and it still hasnt been unloaded from my trailer since I had gone.I hope to have it out soon before the snow hits so I can finish up with some of the detail work,I have a new belt,a new basket for the rear, some seat supplies, and a few other items. The windshield frame has yet to be made,I want to refit the hood, make some headlight buckets, change the steering some, put the hubcaps on ,get it painted before I take it out again

Don, everything is good that finished good! ... even divorce, if it is necessary... as suportive, understanding and tolerant wife is one of the main condition for every DIY project - you are now free? Good luck in following life, keep building and driving! Zoran

Its May 26th 2019,I havnt done anything with my kart due to my finance issues.I flew over to Sandusky Ohio to see my folks and younger brother last month which also set me back quite a bit.I also have another project that is keeping me from clearing out my shop to work,it takes up most of the area.My new trailer you saw me with had some water leaks that cost $5K to fix, just couldnt ignore that one which left me broke for a while.Stay safe guys, dont ignore safety when your building, practice your welding skills before going onto your build.I spent lots of time fixing stuff for others on this last Tieton trip,it might be telling you something.Hope to see you all again soon

Its Sept 8 2019,still no progress on my Kart, garage is full of stuff to be sold and its raining.Been loving the posts people have made over the summer, needless to say I had a rough summer with all the things happening family related.I cant seem to find free time but here and there with all the home chores. My house still needs a roof,my storage shed is leaking and falling apart,I did manage to get my travel trailer water leak dealt with($5100.00 worth),I think the yard has suffered the most this year with all the grass popping up in the flower beds.I want to get back to it very soon

Am starting on building two CK's. One vintage racer style and one CCBB just because I love it. Yours is an inspiration. The ladies in my family will love it.
