Tachometer Adjustment

After a few drives with my new - " two faced" tach, I found that it needed adjustment. I first thought the needle was in the wrong place because at idle it did'nt move and on most of the arc it was off by about 1k so I thought I would have to pull the needle and re-attach it at a different angle. I then noticed at around 60mph with the needle closer to the top , around 3500 rppms it seemed closer to the right rev numbers. I drove again and noticed when I was at 60mph and went around left angled...

My cable drive from the distributor stopped working a month ago so I pulled out the electronic one from the old stuff I had collected over the years. I figured out how to wire it from the schematic and installed it. Worked great but I didn't like the face of the Smiths gauge compared to the old Jeager . Got a used Jeager tach from a forum member so I wouldn't have to chop up my good working one, and put the face of it on the Smiths electronic one. Now I like it again.
