I spent my formative years in Salem Oregon with my folks and 3 brothers. As kids my 3 brothers and I plus our neighborhood friends were always building some form of go-cart. Mostly made with wood frames with scrounged up parts. Of course these were "push each other around" go-karts with rope steering. As we neared the age of 15 we graduated to popular motorized go-carts of the day. If seems that we spend all of our free summertime hours in the "pursuit of go-cart happiness"! I left Oregon right after high school in 1984 to seek my fame and fortune as I recall. I ended up in Phoenix and have been here for 37 years now. Here I am after all these years still playing with go-carts...I mean Cyclekarts!
