I currently own a 69 GT6+ w/overdrive; 70 GT6+; 72 GT6 MKIII. Of course my first car was a Valencia Blue 69 GT6+. Loved it, drove it, raced it. Great times. Trying to recapture those memories. I have but along with them came the reality. Lucas electric system, gearbox issues, cold weather starting. But I love every minute in the garage caring for them.

I have a 1972 GT6 Mk III in British Racing Green. I purchased in Boise Idaho and drove it home, approx. 1891 miles without an incident. Not the smartest thing I've done, but I was lucky to have a buyer that was honest with the condition of the car. A seller may be more interested in the dollars, and not bring themselves to mention, 'issues' that need addressed before driving it 2000 miles. But I made it fine, a week later I inspected the car a little closer and found the right front wheel...
