Well, here we are a third of the way through June and I still don't have my car sitting in my own driveway.

Earl called and I am meeting him today to take a test drive in the Spit. I feel I might just abduct the car and take it home. I did maintain the car myself for years and there really isn't much left to do that would make it road ready. We'll see.

Trying to remain patient with the process, but sure would have liked to have had the car on a day like today. It was high 70's and beautifully sunny all day. Could have taken Frannie for a Mothers Day ride. Left message with Earl, but no return call.

Paid a visit to Earl Moffat's on Sunday and saw the progress that he has made on my car. I really do understand a little better now that there are so many minor and major issues with a forty-five year old car that need professional attention and solution.

Earl takes great effort in making sure that what he does to the car not only repairs the car, but in some cases, improves the design of the car and makes it a better performing vehicle.
